THE BARONESS BEATRICE BALL
19 August 2016 at the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild
"Great Bal Costume !"
of the time of the Belle Epoque
For the 1st edition of the Baroness Beatrice Ball AIDA invited you on a journey through time, back to the "Belle Epoque" (1870/1914), a High period of the History of French Riviera and a very symbolic period of a great tradition of the French "art de vivre" (lifestyle).
During the Belle Epoque aristocrats from all over Europe and High Society from everywhere in the world made of French Riviera their new wordly meeting point. The social life of the area gets organized thanks to new Palace Hotels, Casinos, Operas and beautiful villas.
Beyond a simple ball, which has been held in the magnificent setting of Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, AIDA offered a complete event, which began in the early evening to close in the small morning around many happenings (art exhibit, classical concert, Haute Cuisine, dance animated by a DJ of international fame) to trace the lifestyle of an era known for its good manners, its creativity and its refinement.
Far from a backward-looking event, the Baroness Béatrice Ball was built to offer a permanent game of mirrors between guarantors of tradition and trend makers to better tap into the past to define a highly contemporary idea of cultural and social event.
